Grand Lodge of Ireland has recognized GLNF. UGLE will make the announcement this week

London, United Kingdom. Tomorrow takes place the Quarterly Annual Communication of the United Grand Lodge of England. The event is expected with excitement by members of the French National Grand Lodge, given the French expectations of having again the confidence English Brethren. UGLE is expected to communicate in the following days that GLNF respect regularity standards and that the two Grand Lodges will restore fraternal relations. Grand Lodge of Ireland already announced last week that recognition was resumed for GLNF. Grand Lodge of Scotland will announce in next period it recognition regarding GLNF. It is generally emphasised that any Freemason should have the total support of his wife or partner and family to enable him to fully enjoy and be involved in his Masonry. However, the wives of members of North Shore Lodge No 7916 excel in their support. Having formed the North Shore Ladies Committee some years ago, they actively organise and run social events on behalf of the members of the lodge and in doing so raise money in support of the lodge’s chosen charities. Exhibition “Freemasonry in Serbia 1785-2014? opens in Belgrade

BELGRADE – The Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia (RVLS), has put on an exhibition Freemasonry in Serbia 1785-2014, staged to mark the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Grand Lodge of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians “Yugoslavia ” (in 1919). The exhibition shows a long tradition of Freemasonry in Serbia, and it will be open until June 9, the RVLS press office said in a statement on Sunday. Freemasons’ new deputy head hopes to increase charity donations

The new deputy head of the district’s freemasons is promising a review of cash the order spends on charity each year. Mike Stimson, 66, takes over from Clifford Drake, 67, who has spent eight years in the role, aimed at supporting the eight lodges and two chapters based at the Masonic Centre in Queensway, Bletchley. Mr Stimson, of Greenleys, Milton Keynes, said: “Charity is one of the three main masonic principles, along with friendship and decency, so I owe it to the 3,500 freemasons in Bucks to make sure their money is invested wisely.” He hopes to increase the amount ...
