Marion-Dunn Masonic Lodge 19 in Florida hosted it first Fun Day for athletes of Special Olympics of Marion County and their families on Saturday, March 9. Lodge members, their family members and members of the DeMolay youth group helped at the event, according to a news release. Freemasonry is a fraternity or brotherhood based on the belief that each person has a responsibility to help make the world a better place. Freemasonry encourages good men to become better men by promoting a life dedicated to high ideals, community service and benevolence, noted the release.
