Families lined the streets of downtown Hickory on Saturday afternoon for the North Carolina Shriners parade.
Shriners cruised the streets in new and classic cars and old jalopies to the tunes of marching bands and bagpipes. Go-karts raced in circles as clowns waived at squealing children.
The Shriners are in town for the weekend for their semi-annual induction of new members.
