On Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June RFBI villages joined aged care providers around Australia in celebrating the inaugural National Open Day, a day to celebrate quality services to support the ageing population.
The day was a great success for all of our facilities, as staff and residents showed off to their local communities the services and positive experiences of aged care and retirement living at RFBI.
As Australia’s ageing population rises it is important to acknowledge the services that exist which are designed and tailored to support Australians to continue living an inspiring and comfortable life.
Hawkins Masonic Village celebrated the day with information stalls about the different areas and services of our village, village tours, talks from Centrelink, massages from VIVIR Physio and a BBQ at the Men’s Shed. The young (and young at heart) weren’t forgotten with amusement rides, fairy floss and face painting by Ruby the Clown.
The Open Day was a great success for all of our facilities and we are already looking forward to next year’s event.
