At a recent news conference, artwork created by several Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Erie patients was presented to State Sen. Sean Wiley. The artwork will be featured in his downtown Erie office, located in the historic Griswold Plaza Post Office building.
Several months ago, the senator’s office contacted the Erie facility about obtaining artwork created by patients. Through the efforts of the hospital’s child life and public relations departments, several children created artwork. Some of the creations were done in color and others were drawn in pencil.
All of the pieces were either framed or matted compliments of U Frame It and the Poster Annex in Erie.
