Grand Charity Supports Wiltshire Air Ambulance


Wiltshire Freemasons need little encouragement to support the Wiltshire Air Ambulance – recently White Horse Lodge No 2227 did just that; this week we report on a donation from The Grand Charity. The Freemasons’ Grand Charity together with members from Wiltshire Lodges has been a regular supporter of air ambulance charities in recent years, donating over £1.5 million in total to twenty-two rescue services since 2007. Wiltshire Freemasons Make a Major Donation to Victim Support


The Charity Victim Support Wiltshire has received a number of donations from Wiltshire Freemasons in recent years, but the latest is certainly one of the largest! On the 27 May, Francis Wakem Provincial Grand Master and Stephen Bridge Provincial Grand Charity Steward attended Victim Support’s Devizes office and presented a cheque for £10,000 to the charity; this fantastic sum consisted of £5,000 donated by Wiltshire Freemasons and a further £5,000 of matched funding from the Freemasons’ Grand Charity.
